To open Command Prompt as Administrator in Windows, follow one of these methods:

✅ Method 1: From Start Menu (most common)

  1. Press the Windows key or click the Start menu.
  2. Type: cmd
  3. In the search results, you’ll see Command Prompt.
  4. Right-click it and select “Run as administrator.”
  5. If prompted by User Account Control, click Yes.

✅ Method 2: Using Run Dialog

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type: cmd
  3. Press Ctrl + Shift + Enter instead of just Enter — this opens it with administrator rights.
  4. Click Yes if asked for permission.

You’ll know it worked if the title bar says:
