Useful information from Alex Pettit:
H-Line 3D (HL3D) does following:
1) takes theIFavg file set, analyses the drift and slope of each file at ( user specified ) non H Line influenced frequencies and normalizes all files to that value and corrects the slope.
2) changes the amplitudes to ( calibrated & verified ) dB values referenced to the Cold_Sky level,
3) converts the set to a compatible graphics file for the Rinearn-2D/3D Graphics Plot packages ..
Simple Powerful Effective

The calibration of the software sequence Y axis scale , amplitude, and linearity has been verified

The software allows valid Quantitative system to system performance comparison

The post-test HL3D drift normalization consumes no drift scan acquisition time

FYI : a quantitative comparison of 6 radio telescope systems I’ve designed/built via SDR# > IFavg

The latest eval : the Kraken Discovery Dish Feed

24 hr drift scan with the above System @ Dec +40 dg
