Would this successfully act as replacement for
TERRASAT Microwave 6.4 – 7.1 GHz RX RF Mixer SMA ED-0280-1 MDC6471-035 ?
To be a suitable replacement it needs to have:
RF input covering 6.4–7.1 GHz.
LO frequency compatible with your chosen local oscillator (e.g. the 5.7 GHz LO we discussed).
IF output covering the frequencies you intend to feed into the SDR (typically hundreds of MHz to around 1.5 GHz).
Passive or active mixer type appropriate for your gain budget.
SMA connectors (or adapters if not).
Any listing is simply a generic 1.5–4.5 GHz or 5–4200 MHz mixer, then it is not a replacement because it won’t operate at 6.7 GHz.
The M-10047 M10047 ST RF Microwave Mixer SMA 6000-15000Mhz is likely to work as a replacement for the Terrasat mixer, and in some respects it may actually be the better choice because it covers your 6.7 GHz methanol maser frequency comfortably.
