Components I have made for Mini-Antenna Testing Range for EUCARA conference September 2025

I am running a NanoVNA workshop at EUCARA 2025 at Harwell Campus and as part of this I am going to demonstrate a mini-antenna testing range = I have been making the components….here is what I have made so far!

Cantenna to test on range (test antenna):

50cm circle plywood – I am going to mark 5 degree angular rotation on this to measure how far antenna being tested being rotated from 0 degrees (pointed at source antenna):

Lazy-Susan which sits on above (16 inch) and allows rotation of test antenna:

Source antenna – plus into socket 1 on NanoVNA and transmits 1420 Mhz signal which test antenna picks up and then feeds into socket 2 on NanoVNA for comparison:
