Making a 2nd cantenna for the antenna testing range in the NanoVNA workshop at EUCARA 2025
In September 2025, EUCARA is being held at Harwell Campus in UK. I am giving a talk and also running an introductory workshop on using NanoVNAs to test antennae/aerials. As part of that workshop, I am demonstrating a mini antenna/aerial testing range and I need to build a 2nd cantenna (my 1st is being used as the waveguide/feed for LRO-H2 solar cooker parabolic reflector hydrogen line radio telescope at LRO). This 2nd cantenna will be used a test antenna for the workshop – allows me to have convenient-sized antenna for testing and also to demonstrate a cantenna both at workshop and on my stand in the exhibition.
I will use the same specifications for the cantenna as I used for my first one.
