How to add a shortcut to a folder on Linux Ubuntu Desktop

You can add a folder shortcut to the Ubuntu desktop by holding down Ctrl + Shift while dragging the folder from the file manager to your desktop. Alternatively, you can hold Alt and drag the folder, then select “Make Link” from the pop-up menu, or use the terminal with the ln -s command.
