Can those 2 antennas be configured to “add” their signals together to increase signal strength? If so how would it be done?

Yes! Is the answer to this question – one of things I am trying to do – not succeeded yet personally but I know folks in USA who are doing just that successfully and I am can put you in contact with them if you wish to speak to them. Do let me know.
