To access the single-use boot menu on an HP ProDesk 600 Mini with an Intel i7-6700, follow these steps:
🔧 Steps to Enter Boot Menu for USB Boot:
- Turn off the PC completely.
- Insert your USB drive into a USB port.
- Turn on the PC.
- Immediately press
F9
repeatedly (once per second) as soon as you power it on. - This opens the Boot Menu (a one-time boot device selection menu).
- Use the arrow keys to select your USB drive and press Enter.

- If

doesn’t work (rare on HP), tryEsc
to enter the Startup Menu, then chooseF9
from there. - Make sure the USB drive is properly formatted (FAT32 or NTFS) and bootable (e.g., created with Rufus, balenaEtcher, or UNetbootin).
