My data (LRO) indicates that the peak of the 2024 Geminids was around 4-6am on 14 December 2024 UTC, with another similar but slightly less pronounced peak 13 December 3-5am.…
I have processed all the data I have collected so far using my new radio telescope made from a 1.5m parabolic solar cooker from ebay = data appears rather noisy…
Using ezRA and Rinearn3D. I am amazed that this can be done!! Instructions on how to process hydrogen data in 4D (adapted from Ted Cline). Credit for the process used…
Plots and animations below show two arms of Milky Way behind each other in 3 dimensions in space and power (colour), all centred on our Sun. Animations: 4D plots (3…
These 4D (3 dimensions in space + power) images have been created using latest ezRA software + Rinearn 3D software. Andy
Below I followed Ted Cline’s new instruction set on how to generate 3D plots from ezRA data sets – 3D here means 2 distance dimensions and 3rd dimension is intensity…
Using following command line, from <CMD> in Windows, with one of latest versions ezCon, ezCon241021a.py, in ezRA suite of software, https://github.com/tedcline/ezRA py ../ezRA/ezCon241021a.py data -ezConAntXTFreqBinsFracL 0 1 -ezConUseVlsr 0 -ezConAntXTVTFreqBinsFracL…
This cavity filter from China has remarkably narrow band of only 2MHz either side of target frequency of 1420MHz (hydrogen). I received 3 of these filters December 2024. Simulation curve…
Creating a 2,500-hour map of the Milky Way using hydrogen line (1420MHz) using Lichfield Radio Observatory’s LRO H1 radio telescope The Lichfield LRO H1 Radio Telescope Lichfield Radio Observatory (LRO)…
