I don’t know what software you use to control the mount, but W49 is listed in Stellarium which apparently has an integration with the giant astronomical database SIMBAD.
Besides that, you can also just see the coordinates where the dish is pointing in EQMOD if you’re using that, or on the hand controller of the mount.
By the way, a pointing check on the sun or moon is absolutely necessary in my experience. Without that, you simply don’t know where you’re pointing the dish.
