I have attached two files (accessible via link at bottom of this post), which need to be copied onto the RPi. I have changed their names because a lot of security software blocks, or even deletes, executable script files. You will need to remove the .txt from the file name.
You will get a separate email with login instructions for the website so that you can enter your details and change your password.
Are you happy to update your RPi? I am happy to have a Zoom and talk you through the process.
To install the files on the RPi:
- Log in to your RPi, this can either be to the desktop, or to an SSH session.
- Navigate to this directory /home/pi/UKRAA_PicoMuon/scripts
- Rename the existing file processData.sh to processData.sh.old This preserves the original file if we need to revert in case of problems.
- Copy the two files supplied to this directory on the RPi /home/pi/UKRAA_PicoMuon/scripts
- We can then do a test to make sure the files upload correctly.
At 04:00 the processData.sh will run and the files for yesterday will be uploaded to the muon website.
